Metropolitan Psychological Services (MPS), PLLC is a growing private-pay group practice with modern, metro-accessible offices in Arlington and Tysons Corner, Virginia. We provide psychotherapy and psychological assessment services across the lifespan and are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a warm, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
Our Arlington office primarily serves adults, couples, and teens, while our Tysons office serves children (ages 5+), teens, adults, couples, and families. Psychological assessment services are offered for individuals ages 8 through adulthood.

- Licensed Staff Psychologist (Adults & Couples)
- Licensed Staff Psychologist (Child & Family)
- Testing Psychologist
- Psychiatrist (Children, Adolescents & Adults)
Psychiatrist Opportunity
We are seeking a Virginia-licensed psychiatrist who enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and values a thoughtful, holistic approach to treatment. The ideal candidate provides care to both children and adults and appreciates partnering with therapists, families, and other providers to support comprehensive client care.
Qualifications
Postdoctoral Residency Candidates
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or a related field
- Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice
- Interest in collaborative private practice work
Licensed Staff Psychologists
- Unrestricted Virginia psychology license
- Experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, Psychodynamic, Attachment-Based, and Integrative approaches)
- Interest in couples therapy preferred, but not required
- PSYPACT participation is a plus
Testing Psychologists
- Competency administering, scoring, interpreting, and integrating psychological assessment data
- Experience with cognitive, academic, attention, memory, personality, and diagnostic evaluations
- Experience with iPad-based administration preferred
- Experience with MIGDAS preferred
All Candidates
- Ability to maintain a caseload of approximately 8–24 clients per week
- Availability to provide in-person services at least two days per week
- Appreciation for autonomy, flexibility, collaboration, and professional engagement
- Interest in becoming a long-term member of the MPS team
