Dana Lipsky

Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Owner & Clinical Director of MPS PLLC

Dr. Lipsky works together with individuals and couples to set goals, examine difficulties and find realistic solutions that provide relief and clarity. She utilizes a warm interactive approach to treatment and incorporates empathy, honesty, and a sense of humor to create a comfortable environment. Because the way we think impacts the way we feel, individuals are taught skills to identify, challenge, and modify negative thinking. In her work with couples, she provides strategies to improve communication, manage conflict, solidify trust and enhance intimacy.

Serena Anand

Ph.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Anand strives to create an atmosphere of empathy, trust, and collaboration in which individuals and couples feel safe to explore whatever brings them into therapy. She believes in developing meaningful relationships with her clients, and empowers them to make lasting changes by gaining insight into unhelpful patterns, and exploring underlying emotions and relational experiences that contribute to how the client views themselves and others. Dr. Anand practices from a Psychodynamic perspective, and integrates techniques from CBT, ACT, and Mindful Self Compassion, to meet the unique needs of each client.

Erica Chow

Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Chow utilizes warmth and compassion to empower her clients to develop self-compassion and acceptance. She utilizes a wide range of evidence-based treatment modalities to help clients achieve symptom alleviation and increased self-confidence. In her work with couples, she aims to create an open environment where both partners feel heard, respected and valued. She is a dedicated clinician and greatly values each individual’s unique personal experience and cultural identity.

Allison F. Godwin

Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Godwin utilizes a warm, directive therapeutic style in her work with individuals and couples, to collaboratively set goals, examine difficulties, and develop realistic solutions that provide relief and clarity. She works within a humanistic perspective, focusing on each individual within their unique context, to encourage understanding and empowerment. Her direct, empathic, and honest approach allow for growth within a safe environment, through personal insights and skills development. Because thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intertwined, individuals learn mindfulness skills to identify, challenge, and modify negative thinking, while reflecting on their personal values. In her work with couples, she provides strategies to improve emotional connections, effective communication skills, and conflict resolution.

Virginia “GiGi” Gallup Larsen

PsyD, NCSP, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Gallup Laren earned a Doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from James Madison University’s Combined-Integrated Doctoral Program, an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program. Prior to returning to school for her doctorate, she also obtained her Master’s and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in School Psychology from George Mason University, a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) accredited program. Dr. Gallup Larsen served as a school psychologist in Alexandria, Virginia for over a decade; and while there, was recognized as the School Psychologist of the Year for 2013 by the Virginia Academy of Schools Psychologists (VASP).

Greg McCathren

Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. McCathren believes that lasting personal change begins with a strong working alliance between the client and the therapist. He helps clients understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to create positive change, gain personal insight, and find fulfillment. Dr. McCathren values each individual’s unique identity and helps clients reach goals, achieve self-acceptance and gain feelings of empowerment.

Jordan Ohanesian

Psy.D. Post-Doctoral Resident in Clinical Psychology

Dr. Ohanesian understands that each person’s experience and background is unique. She is warm and helps her clients feel easily understood and supported. She plays an active role in the treatment process and gently challenges her clients to gain useful insights. Dr. Ohanesian is an integrative practitioner who helps her clients more fully understand their strengths, needs and identities.

Astrid Pinto

Ph.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Pinto is warm, collaborative, and honest with her clients. She works with adults, families, and couples to help them achieve improved communication, stronger relationships, and greater satisfaction in various aspects of life. She helps clients become aware of maladaptive thoughts, behaviors, and emotional patterns that trigger anxiety and depression. To combat negative thinking and to alleviate feelings of worry, Dr. Pinto teaches clients strategies from Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused therapy modalities.

Lana Ross

Ph.D., Post-Doctoral Resident in Clinical Psychology

Dr. Ross believes in helping individuals and couples gain insight and make behavioral changes to improve well-being. She believes empathy is important in the therapeutic alliance and she strives to create a safe space where client(s) can feel comfortable in therapy and actively engage in treatment. Her approach to therapy is based in cognitive-behavioral (CBT) theory, but is also flexible and pragmatic, in order to meet each individual’s treatment needs. With couples, Dr. Ross primarily utilizes the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy and she provides couples with strategies to enhance their friendship, improve communication, strengthen trust, and manage conflict effectively.

Arianna Scott

PhD, NCSP, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Scott specializes in working with children, adolescents and families. She utilizes a warm, empathetic, and person-centered therapeutic style that puts clients at ease. She employs evidence-based strategies including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness-based modalities to help create positive lasting change. She helps clients gain personal awareness, challenge maladaptive thinking and learn how to better regulate their emotions.

Naomi Stahl

PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist*
Dr. Stahl works collaboratively with individuals and couples to identify goals, explore difficulties, and build skills to create lasting change. She utilizes a warm, directive approach, and incorporates humor, authenticity, and flexibility to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. Dr. Stahl uses a cognitive-behavioral approach and helps clients increase flexibility in their thoughts and behaviors. In her work with couples, she provides strategies to improve communication, conflict management, trust, and intimacy.

Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Valentine is an integrative psychologist who utilizes warmth, empathy, authenticity, and humor in therapy. Dr. Valentine works with teens, adults, couples, and families. She collaborates with clients in setting goals and finding realistic solutions that align with their unique life experiences. Her focus is on the holistic well-being of her clients. Dr. Valentine works with individuals of all backgrounds and as a bilingual clinician provides therapy in English and Spanish.

Angel Van Wagenen

Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Van Wagenen has a warm and supportive therapeutic style. She collaborates with her clients to facilitate self-reflection and increased insight. She is empathic and values each person’s unique life experience. Dr. Van Wagenen is integrative in her approach to therapy and specifically tailors treatment to help her clients achieve goals.


Anamaria Lowe is warm, friendly and approachable. She is a healthcare administrator with over 20 years of experience in organizational management, customer service, billing, and conflict resolution. Ana is Founder and CEO of My Doctors Keeper, a company dedicated to assisting medical and mental healthcare practices reach their fullest potential. Ana has completed HIPAA training and assists clients with scheduling, billing, and other related service needs.

MPS PLLC is conveniently located in the Courthouse/Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia. The office is 2 blocks from the Court House metro stop on the Orange Line. Our building is 10 minutes from downtown Washington, DC and the location provides easy access to major roadways including 50, 395, 66, and the GW Parkway. For your convenience metered and garage parking is available.

Tysons Corner Location

MPS Tysons Corner is in the new “Boro” neighborhood, less than a ¼ mile from the Spring Hill Metro Station (Silver Line), and offers convenient access to the Dulles Toll Road, I-66, I-495 and other major roadways. Free surface parking spots and garage parking is available.
