Lauren Price, Psy.D.

Dr. Lauren Price earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology–an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program. She earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and an additional master’s degree in forensic and legal psychology from Marymount University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sociology-Criminology and minor in Psychology from Ohio University.

Dr. Price completed an APA-accredited predoctoral psychology internship at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital located in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she completed a forensic psychology fellowship approved by the American Board of Forensic Psychology (ABFP) at Forum Ohio, LLC located in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Price has completed additional clinical training in outpatient and inpatient settings, where she worked with individuals and families struggling with mood difficulties, emotional, and behavioral dysregulation, and challenges in interpersonal functioning.

Dr. Price specializes in working with pre-teens, teens, and young professionals. Her treatment specialties include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, school and career stress, trauma, and relational distress. Dr. Price is also passionate about addressing race-related stress and consistently strives to cultivate a safe space where individuals of color can be seen, heard, and understood.

Dr. Price believes in meeting her clients right where they are. She utilizes a client-centered approach and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and mindfulness-based techniques to provide personalized care to each of her clients. Dr. Price believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and she is honored to be on this journey with you.
